About Us
At Aloe Bush Game Lodge we have been keen hunters for the past 15 years and have hunted many species both in South Africa, Southern Africa and abroad, both with rifle and bow. We offer personalised attention to each hunter that visits our farm and will be with you every step of the way throughout your hunting and stay with us.

The hides and blinds, are all designed and built specifically for bow hunters. One pit blind has enough space to accommodate a whole film crew if that is what you would like to do. View ports allow you a near 360 degree look at what is happening around your blind.
We offer luxury chalets or tented camp accommodation and facilites to make your stay comfortable and unforgettable.

Accommodation and Facilities
Luxury Chalets
Our five air-conditioned en-suite luxury chalets and one deluxe chalet are clean and spacious, fitted with either a king-size bed or two single beds. The chalets can be arranged to accommodate two adults and two small children. Tea and coffee station in each chalet. Electrical service is 220 volts. The socket outlets are round pin, 13 amps. Our laundry service is available on a daily basis.
Meals are provided in our “LAPA” area where the relaxed atmosphere allows everyone a view of the campfire while they share stories of the days’ hunt. Great South African wine and beer compliment a fully stocked bar.
The LAPA offers swimming pool, pool table and televisions that are available to all guests.
Luxury Tented Camp
A luxury tented camp is available as a self-catering option, with all equipment and facilities required available. We have 6 tents, with 2 beds each, fully equipped with mosquito nets, bedding and towels. The tented camp surrounds a central fireplace where guests can relax after a day in the bush. Separate ablution facilities for men and women and a fully equipped kitchen tent complete the circle of tents. Each tent has an electrical outlet. Enough dry firewood is made available to ensure a late, cosy night around the fire, completing the hunting experience. The tented camp also offers a luxury lapa with full DSTV, dining room table and lounging area for the colder evenings.
General Information
Aloe Bush Game Lodge is not in a malaria area so no special vaccinations are required. Mosquito repellent is advised.
Your safari starts on the day of your arrival and ends on the date of departure. Upon arrival at the farm you will be required to sign an indemnity form and pay the balance of your daily rate charges if you have not done so already. Prior to your departure you will need to settle your account in full. All payment must be in cash or card. Credit cards are accepted as well as EFT payments for local Hunters.
Archery equipment does not require a permit to be transported into or around South Africa. It is advisable to transport you bow in a TSA approved lockable case. The rifle hunters should ensure that necessary travel permits are valid for the transport of their rifles.
Aloe Bush issues travel permits for transportation of hunted game.
All of our PH's are born and raised in Southern Africa, having grown up playing and hunting in the African bush. This gives you a certain edge, as they have an intimate knowledge of the game and local culture.
