Donovan started his hunting career at a very young age in the African Bushveld where he honed his skills and ability to hunt plains game. He furthered his hunting skills by successfully qualifying to guide and hunt dangerous game and is a member of the Professional Hunters Association of South Africa (PHASA).
The prime objective of Restless Africa Safaris is to ensure that our client’s needs are catered for and to leave them with unforgettable memories of a true African Safari.

Rifle Hunting
Your hunt starts the moment we collect you from the Johannesburg Int airport, and ceases only once you are safely on your way back home, having experienced a rewarding hunting experience with Restless Africa Safari.
We have over 29 antelope species alone, from the smallest Blue Duiker to the massive Cape Eland, besides that you can hunt desirable species like the Giraffe, Zebra, Warthog, Hippo, Cheetah, Hyena and many other smaller mammals like Civets, Lynx, Genets, Mongoose, Jackals, Baboons and Monkeys.South Africa is the only country where a complete BIG Five hunt can be undertaken:Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo. We will move to where ever necessary depending on TAG availability and natural habitat. Our plains game hunts are also an experience of a life time.
The hunter will be accompanied at all times by a qualified and licensed professional hunter. Well trained camp staff,including trackers, skinners, cooks and general camp assistants are always at hand. We endeavor to cater to all our clients personal needs to ensure a memorable Africa experience. All trophies are prepared by skinners under careful supervision. The mounting of trophies can be arranged by professional taxidermists who, with expert craftsmanship will rekindle your African memories in your tropy room or you can have it dipped, packed and shipped to your own taxidermist in your country.
Green hunts are offered to the individual, Rhino, Elephant etc… with prior agreement.
Bow Hunt
As with rifle hunting your hunt starts the moment we collect you from Johannesburg Int airport ,and ceases only once you are safely on your way back home, having experienced a rewarding hunting experience with Restless Africa Safari on your African bowhunt.
A very challenging and rewarding method in many different ways of hunting depending on the type of game that you wish to hunt is by bow.The hunter will at all times be accompanied by a Professional Hunter who too is involved in the sport of Bowhunting.It is essential that on the more dangerous or bigger animals, for the bow hunter to be experienced and the right equipment must be used for success in landing your target.
Restless Africa Bow Hunting Safaris has exclusive rights for bow hunters in an area never hunted before, needless to say you can selectively judge your trophy to ensure quality -Bow -hunting only concessions .Our bow hunting hides consists of ground blinds and above ground hides and are situated near waterholes or feeding areas or alternately you can conduct walk and stalk hunts.The bow -hunter will have ample opportunity to sight his or her bow on the game ranch before the hunt .The use of anti-scent are highly recommended .A good supply of arrows,spare broadhead blades, strings and other spares should be brought with.
