Paurosa Nature Conservancy is home to a variety of fauna and flora. The conservancy’s sole purpose is to establish an environment that is in harmony with the real ‘African Nature’. There are strict guidelines in place to ensure that this unique character is protected and remains one of the finest of its kind in the region.
This is a Malaria-free area with a typical subtropical climate and an annual summer rainfall. Winter termperatures are moderate, it ranges from about 6°C to 24°C while the summer temperatures ranges between 20°C and 40°C, making it perfect all year round.
Mountains, cliffs, gorges, plains, rivers, waterfalls, and fountains are just a few of the scenic things one can find on the conservancy. The Kruis River, which runs through the conservancy, keeps both the animals and plant life lush. Experience these pieces of beauty while on adventures with loved ones.

Camp / Accommodation
Paurosa’s private and exclusive Game Lodge is perfect for a family weekend. The camp lies in a valley overlooking a dam and mountains that are home to many types of wildlife. Paurosa Nature Conservancy and Game Lodge is situated in a Malaria free area. Having a typical subtropical climate and an annual rainfall makes it perfect weather all year round
The camp can easily accommodate 15 people and is available one group at a time, ensuring you have complete privacy during your stay. Accommodation is in the form of three chalets and a main area.
Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom, Other room amenities include:

- Mini Bar Fridge
- Inside Shower
- Sleeper Couch
- Linen and Towels are provided
The main area consists of a kitchen, scullery, living area, and private deck. Areas facilities include:
